HLAA-FL JOAN ANDREWS STATE SCHOLARSHIP:
Deadline to apply is Tuesday, February 28, 2017. HLAA-Florida State Association would like to thank Joan Andrews daughters for their continued support of this very special scholarship in memory of her mother. Joan Andrews was a true hearing loss advocate who was ahead of her time. This Scholarship is for first time convention attendees for the opportunity to explore all the HLAA Convention, attend workshops, engage in exciting socials and tour the expo hall for the latest hearing loss technology, ask questions, meet fellow hearing loss members and register to win a free prize or two. NATIONAL HLAA SCHOLARSHIP(S)
If you are an HLAA member and have never been to an HLAA convention before, then you are eligible to apply for a scholarship (you may also nominate another HLAA member). Here’s the way it works: Apply for the Rocky and Ahme Stone Endowment Scholarship by the deadline of February 17. The HLAA Board of Trustees will then select one recipient of this scholarship; remaining applications will be used by HLAA staff in consideration of other available scholarships.
