Florida Volunteers Cleaning up after Hurricane Irma

After a storm of this size, there are many things that need to be done in the aftermath. Power and Clean Water are typically the first things to be restored, but after that, comes the clean up. This is probably the most labor intensive thing on the to do list of many Floridians in the aftermath of Irma. However for many elderly and floridians with disabilities, this can be overwhelming to say the least. Volunteer Florida has stepped up to help Floridians. They are now coordinating residential home clean up for damages from Hurricane Irma. These tasks can include items like tree removal, yard clean up, tarping roofs, removing drywall etc. If you or anyone you know need any assistance Please call 1-800-451-1954.
