Biennial Hearing Loss Association of Florida Let’s Make Hearing Loss Visible Extravaganza INVITE!
2019 will mark the second biennial (every two years) Florida statewide Let’s Make Hearing Loss Visible Extravaganza designed to bring hearing and hearing loss alike of all ages together for support and growth of future hearing loss advocates. Everyone benefits from support and guidance in their hearing loss journey, especially from their hearing individuals: Spouses, partners, parents, friends, co-workers and children. Everyone is an intricate part of the continued success of hearing loss individuals and HLAA as present and future advocates.
This is your chance to be a part of that success. Register now and join the Florida State Association as we bring sponsors, speakers, volunteers and workshops to life in the Spring of 2019.
The Florida State Association is a non profit 501c(3) status organization and no Board member receives any compensation for the said event and the event is free to the general public.
The Florida State Association wants to know you are an important part of this outreach. Advertising will include primary sponsors and will commence between March of 2018 through the actual event in 2019 by way of a variety of Social Media platforms including Television, Internet, Mass Email, Flyers and Newspaper Ads.
The day of the said event will be comprised of an exhibit hall with a wealth of information and multiple workshop rooms overflowing with hearing and hearing loss alike, of all ages, who joined in: Early Step Programs, Musical Therapy, Power of Positive Thinking, the importance of Speech and Mental Therapy, Lipreading, Sign Language, Hearing Dogs, Effective Communication and Socializing, Hearing Loss and Cochlear Implant Panels comprised of young and old alike for interaction and open discussions and more. Existing and potential Chapter/Self Support Group leaders and volunteers participated in an afternoon chapter workshop with the Florida State Chapter Coordinator.
Thanks to your support, the second biennial Extravaganza will be a continued success, with more individuals and organizations statewide are sharing interest in HLAA and/or offering support. Individuals like Karen Adams, Anchor/Producer from Jacksonville WJXT Channel 4 News, is now providing live promotions of HLAA Chapter events in Florida and Georgia and the 2017 HLAA National Convention!
The Hearing Loss Association of Florida and our respective Chapters Self Support Groups and volunteers look forward to the continued promotion to make hearing loss and visible.
