May is Better Hearing Month, and our parent organization, the Hearing Loss Association of America, has shared a helpful new edition of Hearing Life e-news.

This month’s update includes a new family-focused Hearing Loss 101 Toolkit component designed to help kids talk about their feelings related to hearing loss, along with updates on hearing aid battery packaging, recent webinar recordings, Walk4Hearing, the HLAA 2026 Convention, Global Accessibility Awareness Day, and more.

As the Florida State Association, we are always grateful for the resources HLAA provides to help individuals, families, chapters, and communities better understand hearing loss, accessibility, advocacy, and support.
