Over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids are a new category of products that have been available directly to consumers without a prescription since October 2022. They are designed to enhance communication for adults 18 and over with perceived mild-to-moderate hearing loss, offering another pathway to treatment. We hope the resources on this page help provide clarity and understanding for anyone with questions about this exciting new class of products.
