Common questions

How do I find a hearing loss support group near me in Florida?

Visit the Florida chapters page. It lists HLAA chapters and support groups by city with meeting days and contact details. If there is no chapter near you, join a captioned HLAA-FL Zoom meeting or an HLAA national virtual chapter, or ask us about starting a group.

How quickly will I get a reply?

HLAA-FL is run entirely by volunteers, so please allow a few days. Messages sent through the form go to our shared inbox and are routed to the right officer. If your question is urgent, say so in the subject line.

Can HLAA-FL recommend an audiologist or help pay for hearing aids?

We do not endorse individual providers, but our find-a-professional page explains how to choose one in Florida, and our financial assistance page lists Florida programs that help pay for hearing aids. Contact us if you need help finding the right page.

Where do I send a donation by mail?

Make checks payable to Hearing Loss Association of Florida, Inc. and mail them to the HLAA-FL Treasurer at the check address on this page. Include a note if you would like your gift directed to a specific program. You can also give online on the donate page.
