Common questions
How much does it cost to advertise with HLAA-FL?
Rates depend on the placement, size and length of the run. Request the current rate sheet using the form on this page and we will send placements, prices and deadlines. Nonprofit organizations and Florida chapters may ask about reduced rates.
Does advertising mean HLAA-FL recommends my product?
No. HLAA-FL does not endorse or evaluate advertisers. We accept advertising that is relevant to Floridians with hearing loss and consistent with our mission, and we publish a clear disclaimer that advertising is not endorsement. Advertisers cannot use HLAA-FL's name or logo in a way that implies endorsement.
Can I advertise a hearing aid sale or a free hearing test?
Yes, if the ad is accurate and does not make medical claims we cannot verify. HLAA-FL reviews every ad before it runs. Ads for hearing products should encourage readers to consult a licensed hearing health professional. We will tell you if an ad needs changes before it can be accepted.
What is the difference between advertising and sponsorship?
Advertising is a paid placement with your own message in the newsletter, on the website or in event materials. Sponsorship is a charitable contribution that HLAA-FL acknowledges with your logo and thanks. Sponsorship may be tax deductible; advertising is usually a business expense. Many organizations do both.
Want to support HLAA-FL and be recognized for it?
Sponsorship puts your logo in front of our members while funding outreach, advocacy and education in Florida.
