Become an HLAA-FL Sponsor
Reach Floridians with hearing loss and the people who care for them, and fund outreach, advocacy and education across the state.

Why sponsor the Hearing Loss Association of Florida
Sponsors make our statewide work possible. HLAA-FL is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3), so sponsorship dollars go to programs, not salaries: outreach at health fairs and senior centers, advocacy for communication access, hearing loop education, captioned online meetings and support for Florida chapters.
In return, your organization is seen by an audience that is hard to reach any other way: adults with hearing loss and their families, veterans, parents of children with hearing loss, and the audiologists, interpreters and educators who serve them.
Who you reach
Floridians with hearing loss
About 3 million Floridians live with hearing loss. Our members are adults who use hearing aids, cochlear implants, captions and hearing loops, and they research before they buy.
Chapters statewide
HLAA chapters and support groups across Florida meet in person and online. Sponsors are recognized to chapter leaders and members.
Events
Webinars, the annual meeting and outreach events put sponsors in front of members and the public.
Newsletter
The HLAA-FL newsletter goes to members, chapter leaders and friends of the association across the state.

Sponsorship is not endorsement
HLAA-FL thanks its sponsors publicly, but sponsorship does not mean HLAA-FL endorses, recommends or has evaluated any sponsor's products or services. Sponsors have no influence over HLAA-FL programs, advocacy positions or the information we publish. We do not share member contact information with sponsors. HLAA-FL reserves the right to decline sponsorship that conflicts with its mission.

Common questions
Is HLAA-FL sponsorship tax deductible?
The Hearing Loss Association of Florida is a 501(c)(3) public charity, so sponsorship payments may be deductible as a charitable contribution or a business expense depending on the benefits you receive. We provide a written acknowledgment for every sponsorship. Please consult your tax professional about how to treat it.
Can we sponsor one event instead of a full year?
Yes. Event sponsorship for a webinar series or the annual meeting is available alongside annual sponsorship. Tell us which event interests you on the form and we will send the options for that event.
Can hearing aid manufacturers, audiology practices or cochlear implant companies sponsor HLAA-FL?
Yes, and many of our members want to hear from them. HLAA-FL keeps a clear line between sponsorship and the information we publish: sponsors are thanked, not endorsed, and our educational content is not influenced by sponsors. Sponsors agree to this policy as part of the sponsorship.
What is the difference between sponsoring and advertising?
Sponsorship is a charitable relationship: you support our mission and we thank you publicly. Advertising is a paid placement in the newsletter or on the website with a specific message. Some organizations do both. See our advertising page for placements, or ask us to combine them.
Prefer to give without sponsor benefits?
A donation of any size supports outreach, advocacy and education for Floridians with hearing loss.
