Florida State Chapter Coordinators

Leader & Coordinator Resources and Workshops

Chapter Coordinators provide a crucial link between HLAA’s headquarters, it's State Associations, and their local chapters. They foster growth among current chapters and help start new chapters. Coordinators forge strong ties with leaders and show them how the HLAA national organization supports and benefits their organizations. Their work can enhance state organizations. If you are a current coordinator, please become thoroughly familiar with all of the material posted in the Leader Support section.

Coordinator may apply for reimbursement of work expenses such as travel etc. HLAA coordinators also receive a reduced convention registration fee.  Learn more by reading the Chapter Coordinator Guidelines.

Coordinators also project the professional image of the organization in all communications particularly via email and in person. Review the information in the Publicity section for details.

Also see National Leader resources or National Coordinator resources.

HLAA Florida Association fulfills its mission because of the dedication of its corps of volunteers at the state and local levels across Florida. HLAA (FL) volunteers are people with hearing loss, their families and friends, and those in the professional community.

Our volunteers, in turn, are rewarded with the experience of making a clear and dramatic impact on the lives of people with hearing loss. We hope your shared experiences enriches your lives as it has our organization and those we serve.
