Chapters are local or area-wide organizations offering regularly-scheduled meetings and programs. Chapters offer emotional support, camaraderie, tips and techniques for living with hearing loss, technical information about hearing assistive technology, in a hearing-friendly place. HLAA Florida Association fulfills its mission because of the dedication of its corps of volunteers at the state and local levels across Florida. HLAA (FL) volunteers are people with hearing loss, their families and friends, and those in the professional community. Our volunteers, in turn, are rewarded with the experience of making a clear and dramatic impact on the lives of people with hearing loss.
